Bryn Mag Begins

Welcome to Bryn Mag! The worlds first and only Bryn Nilsen Magazine!

This is the new official home for my photography. I will still be posting my photos on social media, but not in the same way and I will be using that to guide people here. I'm excited to have some more control over the format and length. I am also glad that this will be distributed slightly outside of the bogs of social media here on the website and also as an email newsletter (subscribe!) I am terrified but ultimately pleased that this endeavor includes a lot more writing to accompany my pictures than I have been sharing!

I started taking photos in June of 2021 with a recent bonus check in my pocket and a renewed sense of being in the world with an urge document my life more after my 14-month in-person night-shift bubble-of-one was able to pop with the help of the miraculous COVID vaccine. I figured it'd be something I'd mess around with for a few months before getting bored, but instead I haven't been able to put the camera down since. I cannot begin to describe all of the beautiful and powerful things this path of photography has brought to me so far so I won't, but I will keep sharing and documenting the beauty and the power around me as I exist in this world.
